Based in Chirk. Built around your home.

RAF Solid Renovation Ltd manufactures and installs oak stair cladding, oak and pine staircases, and oak porches. Based in Chirk, we also carry out extensions, alterations and home renovations, bringing joinery and building services together around your plans.

Oak stair cladding, sometimes called oak overlays, is made to fit over an existing staircase. We make and fit the oak, so the finish looks considered rather than added on.

It is a different job from a new staircase. Whether cladding suits your stair depends on its current condition, so we assess that with you first.

Can my existing staircase be given an oak finish?

Often that is what oak stair cladding (also called oak overlays) is for: new oak fitted over the treads and risers of the stair you already have. Whether it suits your staircase depends on its condition and construction, so we assess it with you first.

Do you make new staircases?

Yes. We manufacture oak and pine staircases. Layout, dimensions and style are discussed for each home, including the balustrade you would like to ask about.

Where do you work?

We install staircases and oak porches across most of England and Wales, subject to location and project scope. Other building and renovation work is within approximately 70 miles of Oswestry. We are based in Chirk.
