01 · Oak stair cladding
Give your existing stairs an oak finish.
Oak stair cladding, also known as oak overlays, is made to fit over an existing staircase. It is not the same as replacing the whole staircase, and it will not suit every stair.
We start with the staircase you have: its condition, how it is built and the finish you would like. From there we can discuss whether cladding is the right route or whether a new staircase makes more sense.
Oak grain, a clean nosing and tight joints are the details that make a staircase.
02 · New staircases
Oak and pine staircases, made for the space.
We manufacture staircases in oak and pine, and we install them. The layout, dimensions and requirements are discussed for each project, because every house is different.

03 · Oak porches
An oak porch that suits the house.
We manufacture and install oak porches. We will want to know about your entrance, the existing building and the look you are after, then we can talk through how a porch could work for your home.

What is oak stair cladding?
Oak stair cladding, also called oak overlays, is oak made and fitted over the treads and risers of a staircase you already have. It changes the look of the stair without building a new one.
How is stair cladding different from replacing a staircase?
Cladding keeps the existing staircase and covers it in oak. Replacing means removing the old staircase and fitting a new one, which we can also manufacture in oak or pine. Which route makes sense depends on the stair you have.
Can every staircase be clad in oak?
No. It depends on the condition and construction of the existing stair, so we assess it with you before recommending cladding or a new staircase.
Do you manufacture and install oak and pine staircases?
Yes. We manufacture oak and pine staircases and install them. Layout, dimensions and balustrade style are agreed for each home.
Where do you install staircases and oak porches?
Across most of England and Wales, subject to location and project scope. We are based in Chirk, and we talk through your location when you get in touch.
